Green Street
Green Street, at the intersection of learning and sustainability, is Wayne State's celebration of Sustainability in Higher Education Month.
Hosted by the Office of Campus Sustainability, Green Street happens in October and is a month of activities and curated conversations between disciplines and comunities about environmental challenges, science, justice, the environment humanities, and much more.
This year's focus is on climate change in the urban setting. Our program includes panels, student organizations appreciation event, volunteer opportunities, and outdoor activities to raise awareness about environmental justice and sustainability.
All events are free and open to the greater Detroit and Wayne State community.

- Grand Opening with the Green Street Planning Committee - Join us in the opening event for Green Street 2022 with panelists who specialize in climate change related to our urban setting in Detroit!

- WSU Museum Tours - To show our appreciation for them, we will be touring the Natural History Museum and the Geology Mineral Museum. Join us to learn more about vertebrates, Michigan plants, and animals as well as Thomas Edison's private collection of minerals.
